An AFORE account (Administration of Retirement Funds) is personal and unique, in it workers' savings accumulate so that when they decide to retire they can have a pension.
The National Commission of the Retirement Savings System (CONSAR), is dedicated to regulating the AFORE and through communication mechanisms for Mexicans abroad, you can receive the information you require. Through SARTEL Internacional, you can obtain telephone advice to find out what your needs or questions are about your AFORE account. The telephone line is available from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with hours from central Mexico.
Through the AforeMóvil application, it is also possible to make a query about your account, or process your registration. For this you need your CURP and an official identification. Download it at the following links:

If as a Mexican abroad you return to Mexico, it is possible to resume your account. In the same way, if you do not have an AFORE, you can process your account. It is not necessary to quote in the IMSS or the ISSSTE, since there is an option of independent workers.
