The Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare (STPS) has published a vacancy for a control technician through its job portal, which offers the opportunity to obtain permanent residence in the United States for Mexican workers.
The position requires maintaining plant control systems, updating documentation, and supporting all machine control systems. In addition, it is expected to develop and maintain equipment networks, gain experience in PLC and HMI systems operated by Alfield Industries, troubleshoot machine operation, and modify the PLC and periphery to improve programming.
This job role also requires collaborative work with the Engineering and Quality departments to prevent and resolve quality issues, install and maintain plant SCADA equipment, and provide controls training and support to plant electricians.
To be eligible, it is required to have a technical degree in Electricity, have at least 2 to 3 years of experience as a Controls Technician, knowledge of industrial networks and AutoCAD software, as well as teamwork, critical thinking, and communication skills. , continuous improvement, problem solving and logical-mathematical reasoning. Basic English language proficiency is also required.
