TheDream.US is the largest program in the United States to provide Dreamers with access to college education.
TheDream.US scholarships are a great support for dreamers who wish to continue their education to enter university and obtain financial support.
If you are a dreamer, we recommend you pay attention because applications for these scholarships start on November 1. These scholarships are based on where you live and are divided into two types:
- La Beca Nacional/National Scholarship, for high school or community college graduates: Offers scholarships of more than $ 16,500 for a associate’s degree and $ 33,000 for a bachelor’s degree. They even offer options at online universities.
- La Beca de Oportunidad/Opportunity Scholarship, For students living in specific and excluded states where they cannot earn in-state tuition: The scholarship offers more than $ 80,000 to cover tuition, on-campus lodging, and meals.
Both scholarships are intended for students with Deferred Action (DACA) and Temporary Protected Status (TPS).
To apply for these scholarships and meet the eligibility criteria, it is necessary to have arrived in the country before November 1, 2016.
