The Secretariat of Public Education of Mexico (SEP), announced actions in support of the student population that returns from the United States to Mexico to continue their studies.
The SEP has accepted the reduction of requirements and their validation remotely through electronic means. Even in basic and upper secondary education, it allows entry without showing documents.
Now the revalidation process is simpler and simpler, since the educational institution of any level must prepare a technical opinion and process the revalidation. Likewise, the SEP will prepare and publish a list of schools with the best conditions due to their organizational infrastructure to receive and integrate new students.
On the other hand, the SEP, through the National Council for the Standardization and Certification of Labor Competencies (CONOCER), promotes a competency certification policy, to promote that the beneficiaries of the program manage to enter labor sectors specific to their abilities and aptitudes.
In addition, through the "Education without Borders" program, the education authorities in Mexico seek to certify the primary and secondary education of migrant adults. In addition, it has a special program "We are Mexicanos" to attend specific cases on the northern border of Mexico, for adults to certify their education in Mexico.
The rules for entering the national educational system are as follows:
Birth certificate or equivalent document, academic document, diagnostic evaluation of preschool, primary secondary and upper secondary education will be carried out, according to the level of education of the student.
