The National Human Rights Commission (CNDH) created an online complaint box from its portal. Know how to use it.
The CNDH has created a complaints box on its web portal to better address complaints from the population that their human rights have been violated. Enter the following link: https://atencionciudadana.cndh.org.mx/
You can file a complaint without creating an account, however, you will not be able to check the status of the complaint or follow up on it. Therefore, we recommend that you create an account before submitting your complaint.
To register your user it is necessary that you enter your name (s), paternal surname and maternal surname, as well as the username you choose. When registering, enter your username and password to write your complaint.
If you describe the events that occurred, the place or town where it happened, the federal entity and its municipality or mayor's office, you must also write down the authorities that you consider responsible and the public servants involved, however, the latter is not mandatory. The CNDH gives you the option to attach files, photos or videos as evidence.
Subsequently, you must register your data, such as sex, age, education, nationality and occupation, as well as contact information such as telephone and email.
You can file the complaint even without being the aggrieved person, however, you can add people or groups to your complaint. Finally, you must attach a ratification document with your autograph signature for the CNDH to consider your complaint.
