Learn how to use the complaints box of the National Human Rights Commission (CNDH).
The CNDH has created a complaint box on its web portal, to facilitate the population's process of filing a complaint regarding the violation of their human rights. Enter the following link: https://atencionciudadana.cndh.org.mx/
You can file a complaint without creating an account, however, you will not be able to verify the status of the complaint, or follow up on it. Therefore, we recommend that you create an account before submitting your complaint.
To register your user it is necessary that you enter your full name, then you must choose a username and password. When registering, enter your username and password to begin the process of writing and submitting your complaint.
Upon entering, a text box will appear for you to describe the events that occurred, the place or town where it happened, the federal entity and its municipality or mayor's office, in the same way you must write down the authorities that you consider responsible and the public servants involved, however, the latter is not mandatory.
Also, if you have audiovisual, photographic material, or files that serve as evidence, you can attach them.
Subsequently, you must register your data, such as sex, age, education, nationality and occupation, as well as contact information such as telephone and email
You can file the complaint even without being the aggrieved person, however, you can add people or groups to your complaint. Finally, you must attach a ratification document with your autograph signature for the CNDH to consider your complaint.
