Biden and Harris met with Latino leaders at the White House

President Joe Biden met with 12 Latino leaders to discuss the Build Back Better Agenda, and the immigration reform they hope to pass this year.

From the White House, in a meeting with leaders of 12 organizations, Joe Biden, once again showed his commitment to achieve real immigration reform in the short term, which includes a path to citizenship for millions of undocumented people.

During the meeting, President and Vice President Kamala Harris reiterated their commitment to Latino families across the country, during the economic recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic.

On immigration reform, Biden and Harris expressed their support for providing a path to citizenship through dreamers, farmers, farmers, essential workers and people with temporary protected status.

On the other hand, the president and vice president presented their position on "the belief in the American dream and in the promise of the United States for all, and pledged to continue working to strengthen our democracy and protect the right to vote," as described by the official statement from the White House.

The meeting was attended by representatives of various Latino organizations in the United States such as the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), Latino Victory, Mi Familia Vota, Voto Latino, National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO) among others.
