Feeding America's National Network of Food Banks distributes 4.3 billion meals each year through pantries.
The Feeding America network works with 200 food banks and 60 thousand food pantries and feeding programs. Feeding America reaches all 50 states, to Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico. The food is offered free of charge with no expectation of donation or refund.
In addition to being free, the services are provided to anyone in the United States, regardless of their immigration status.

Even during the pandemic, food delivery services have continued, now with various rules and changes to ensure the safety of visitors and the food they consume. They have implemented exclusive hours for the elderly, self-service pantries or home deliveries, among other actions to reduce physical contact between people.
Feeding America has an interactive map to make it easy to find the closest food banks to those who need them. The search can be done by entering the ZIP Code or the state.
