The elected leaders are DACA beneficiaries, they include in their monologues topics that they experienced related to the threat of deportation, social injustice, border patrol, threats to human and civil rights, racial discrimination, among others.<\/p><p>The Dreamers initially presented their monologues at various cultural venues in Colorado and invited members of faith communities, legislators, public officials, business leaders, and others to read their stories and discuss the experiences of undocumented immigrants.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-2ab251c0 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default wpr-particle-no wpr-jarallax-no wpr-parallax-no wpr-sticky-section-no wpr-equal-height-no\" data-id=\"2ab251c0\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-3159c0be\" data-id=\"3159c0be\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-623c6330 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"623c6330\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>\u201cStanding alongside these young people and reading their stories was moving for all of us and powerful for the audience\u2026 Barriers were broken, relationships were formed and mutual respect was established,\u201d said Boulder County, Colorado Sheriff Joe Pelle.<\/p><p>Likewise, the monologues were exhibited at events such as the National Immigration Integration Conference (NIIC) and the Grantmakers Concerned with Immigrants and Refugees Conference (GCIR). In the same way, as mentioned above, the project initiative has crossed the border of the theater and has allowed it to be transmitted through podcasts, murals and short films.<\/p><p>Learn more: <a
