The National Institute of Migration (INM), has the Repatriation Program, which provides tools to returning Mexican migrants to achieve their reintegration in a safe and informed manner. <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The Repatriation Program supports Mexican migrants who return to the country from the United States and Canada. The objective of the program is to provide support to Mexicans who return to the country through the joint work of the three levels of government, civil society and private initiative.<\/p>

In this sense, the reinsertion strategy contemplates a three-stage process, whose purpose is to contribute to the development of the country by reincorporating the peasants into the productive market. The three stages are: <\/strong>departure, reception and reintegration.<\/p>

In the first place, as part of the exit stage, the authorities provide support to immigrants to prepare their return to the country in the 50 Mexican consulates in the United States, where they offer advice to complete the necessary paperwork and procedures for voluntary repatriation. The Information and Assistance Center for Mexicans (CIAM) offers attention on consular services 24 hours a day at the number (<\/strong>520) 623874 for the United States.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Once in Mexico, as part of the reception stage, the INM has 11 Repatriation Modules in five of the northern border states. The INM offers free basic services such as: food, medical care, issuance of proof of repatriation, issuance of CURP, among others.
