This raises that dreamers, that is, people who entered the United States illegally as children, will become the last priority in the deportation tasks of the DHS.<\/p><p>After completing the 60-day public comment period, the new rule began to be applied on November 29. will not be related just because they are undocumented. \"For the first time, our guidelines, in the pursuit of public safety, will require an evaluation of the individual and will take into account the totality of the facts and circumstances,\" explained Alejandro Mayorkas, head of DHS.<\/p><p>However, not only Dreamers benefited from this rule, agricultural workers and the elderly as well. \"The main question is whether a non-citizen poses a threat to public safety,\" Mayorkas
