Las primeras fracturas se dan alrededor de los 50 a\u00f1os de edad. <\/span><\/span><\/p><p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Las causas m\u00e1s comunes son la edad (se empieza a perder la masa \u00f3sea a partir de los 35 a\u00f1os), sobreproducci\u00f3n de hormonas, falta de actividad f\u00edsica, dieta no balanceada, h\u00e1bitos t\u00f3xicos y falta de vitamina D. <\/span><\/span><\/p><p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Otros factores por los que puede ocurrir son: alcoholismo, uso de corticoides, enfermedades inflamatorias, end\u00f3crinas, hep\u00e1ticas o renales. <\/span><\/span><\/p><p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Por todo lo anterior, te presentamos estos 10 tips para prevenir fracturas por osteoporosis:<\/span><\/span><\/p><ol><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Lleva una dieta balanceada y rica en calcio:<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> los alimentos que contienen este mineral son los l\u00e1cteos (yogurts, quesos, leche), frutas y verduras (col, espinacas, cebollas), pescados (anchoas, sardinas, lenguado, salm\u00f3n) y mariscos.<\/span><\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Deja de fumar y reduce tu consumo de alcohol:<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> ambos son malos, pero el alcohol disminuye los reflejos e incrementa el riesgo de ca\u00eddas y futuras fracturas. <\/span><\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Haz ejercicio:<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> practica la actividad f\u00edsica que m\u00e1s te guste durante 20 \u00f3 30 minutos, m\u00e1s o menos 3 veces a la semana. Puedes caminar, andar en bicicleta, levantar pesas ligeras, hacer yoga o tai chi, etc. Si ya tienes osteoporosis, procura no hacer ejercicios en los que puedes caer. <\/span><\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Pon atenci\u00f3n a tu postura:<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> checa c\u00f3mo caminas, te sientas, te acuestas, levantas, en la manera en la que recoges y cargas cosas (que no deben ser pesadas). <\/span><\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Revisa tus pasos:<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> si est\u00e1s en la calle, ten mucha precauci\u00f3n al caminar, ya que podr\u00edas tropezarte si el pavimento no est\u00e1 bien. Tambi\u00e9n ten cuidado si el piso est\u00e1 mojado porque podr\u00edas resbalarte. F\u00edjate en los escalones, ya que podr\u00edan estar en una posici\u00f3n dif\u00edcil. Si tienes dificultad al caminar, puedes ayudarte con un bast\u00f3n o un andador.<\/span><\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>S\u00e9 precavido en casa:<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> si est\u00e1 muy oscuro, prende la luz para que veas por d\u00f3nde caminas. Si puedes tropezarte con alguna alfombra, cable u otro objeto, ret\u00edralo para evitar ca\u00eddas. Si ya fuiste diagnosticado con osteoporosis, instala en el ba\u00f1o barras de seguridad y tapetes antiderrapantes. <\/span><\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Cuida tus ojos:<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> si tienes problemas en la vista, ve con tu oftalm\u00f3logo. Si padeces diabetes u otro problema ocular, debes ser mucho m\u00e1s precavido. <\/span><\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>No te automediques:<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> los f\u00e1rmacos hipotensores o sedantes deben ser prescriptos \u00fanicamente por tu doctor, porque pueden producir somnolencia e inestabilidad y hacer que te caigas.<\/span><\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Consume vitamina D:<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> si est\u00e1s bajo en esta vitamina, tu m\u00e9dico puede recetarte tomarla, aunque exponerse al sol, ayuda mucho a obtenerla.<\/span><\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Acude a tu doctor:<\/b><\/span><\/span><span
